The incredible British amplifiers expertly built in the late ‘60s and ‘70s inspired us to create the Ceriatone Hey What series. The Ceriatone Hey What 103 is the flagship of this series, and is assembled with the same painstaking detail as the originals.  It is based on the 100W 4xEL34 model, and features two channels similar to other British heads of the era.  However, that topology is where the similarities end.

The 103 is all about power, headroom, and an unmistakable width of sound.  The sound of a Hey What is different than other amplifiers.  We consider it extremely balanced, and responds SO well to all guitars, pedals, etc.  It is capable of incredible clean tones and some of the most articulate crunch ever.  All of this wrapped up with a military-spec construction technique, and you have the unsung hero of guitar amplification.

Like other Ceriatone amps, we have labored carefully to select the finest components to suit the design, and the 103 uses our specially designed custom transformers for superior reliability, frequency response, and feel.
