The Ceriatone British Style 2550 is our take on one of the more unique and the single most sought after amplifier from the 1980s. The 2550 50W head is known for its sweet, luxurious overdriven tone and has been the basis of some of the most sought after lead tones in the modern era.  Many players don’t realize how versatile these heads are, also sporting equally great clean and high gain tones.  The clean and drive channels are conveniently foot switchable.

Compared to other amplifiers by the inspired company, this has a highly interactive and unique tonestack, and is more “preamp-centric”.  We feel like this amplifier design is particularly consistent across volumes. Like other Ceriatone amps, we have labored carefully to select the finest components to suit the design, and the 2550 uses our specially designed, custom transformers for superior reliability, frequency response, and feel.
