The custom-built Ceriatone 18W will ALWAYS have a special place in our hearts.  This design, and it’s many variants, served as the impetus for Ceriatone. In case you’ve never been on the Internet, the British Series 18W is an amplifier design that had a resurgence in popularity largely due to DIY communities.

The 18W standard features two channels, each with a tone control.  One channel has a dedicated tremolo circuit, while the other tends to have more available gain.  This circuit is capable of fantastic clean and crunch tones, and the cathode-biased EL84 section adds its characteristic harmonic swirl. True to the original design, the chassis is to be mounted in a combo cabinet. Like other Ceriatone amps, we have labored carefully to select the finest components to suit the design, and the 18W uses our specially designed, custom transformers for superior reliability, frequency response, and feel.

Note: PPIMV mounted on Front Panel will be either mounted in place of pilot lamp (Marshall styles) or a hole will be drilled (OTS styles).
          PPIMV mounted on Rear Panel will always be in place of a Speaker Output Jack.
